I have been working with computers ever since I was 11 and my mom bought me a Vic 20. One of the early particle home personal computers. I thought myself basic in the 7th grade and started hitting the local BBS boards in the mid-’80s, before the advent of the internet. My 1st programming class was in Pascal on an Apple IIc, but I also worked on the Texas Instruments and early IBM line of computers that were available in my HighSchool. Of course in the nineties the clones invaded and the internet was born and I have been going along for the ride ever since. Traditional I’m a Windows man myself but I have a lot of experience in most operating systems. Most of my guides and suggestions will be for Windows operating system.
I have built most of my own computers and are upgraded others more than I could possibly count. I have been doing this professionally off and on for decades even though these days I don’t keep up as much on the latest hardware and CPU tech as I sued to. I have been in software service, support, maintenance, and networking for a long time now and don’t build as much as a used to.
My specialty is taking old and slow CPUs jammed up with viruses and malware and turning them back into speedy zippy workstations that you remember when you 1st took them out of the box. I intend to create several guides in relation to computer and system maintenance that can help everyone and pass on what I have learned through many ears or work and research.
